1. better usage of facts - name the facts, then tie them to the rules, one by one.

2. work on organization - underline issues.

3. use exact and correct language - ie. not minimal contacts, but "minimum contacts"

4. tie facts to the rules - do not isolate the rules. start with under the "erie doctrine" - then state the elements. then the facts which are present or not.

5. the facts show that ..... (good use of citing facts)

6. "may contend" better than "will contend"

7. avoid the word "here" - just used too much, but in your mind "use it" - to make sure you are quoting the rules and the facts.

8. Underline issue - state rule of law - element - fact to prove or not - 2nd element - 2nd fact, yes or no, 3rd fact, yes or no.

9. use "can or may" instead of "will" -

10. delete the word "generally" or "mostly" - too vague. sound more definite.

11. argue both yes and no sides of an issue.

12. "Anna may argue" - delete this and just state the facts one way or the other.

13. "could be denied" change to "should be denied"
